The photos don't do this knife justice - it's truly gorgeous. I receive compliments every time I use it. With proper use and care, it will last many years. It holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen. However, I was disappointed that the provided sheath fell apart at the stitching over time 3-4 months,particularly in a field environment. While you can't expect perfection, this issue was a letdown 5/5 For the knife but 3/5 for the sheath
